Like many of you, we are aware of recent health concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are monitoring the situation closely and want to assure you that we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our community and team. As of now, we will remain open, but are taking additional measures to provide a safe, sanitary space for you. Please read on for information on what we’re doing to keep our space safe and clean, as well as best-practice suggestions for you to follow to help us in our efforts.
First and foremost, we want to reinforce the cleanliness of float therapy and the industrial-strength sterlization processes in effect at our spa.
Our float rooms filter the ENTIRE contents of the tank 4 times between each single user.
Additionally, each float room contains over 1,000 lbs of magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) which is a highly potent natural antiviral and antimicrobial. The salt content is so high that viruses and bacteria can't survive. There's research backing this.
Ultra-violet sanitation--the same sterilization process used by hospitals--is applied to each float room before and after single users. When bacteria, viruses and protozoa are exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, they are rendered incapable of reproducing and infecting.
And as one extra layer of defense, each float room undergoes ozone purification between each user. When ozone, which is a molecule composed of 3 oxygen atoms, comes into contact with anything undesirable in the water, the extra oxygen atom immediately oxidizes the foreign particulate. When oxidized, bacteria and viruses are rendered inactive.
Bottom line, float therapy is extremely sanitary and our sterilization processes are clinical-grade strength.
But, we understand that safety is a top concern during this time. Therefore, we are taking additional prevention measures at our spa.
Here are the measures we’re taking to provide a safe and sanitary space for you during this time:
We have provided hand sanitizer at our reception desk.
We are disinfecting all high-touch surfaces in the spa before and after each client. This includes door handles, the reception counter, waiting room surfaces, and both bathrooms.
While we always disinfect each individual float room and dressing area before and after each client, we will be implementing a double sterilization process. This includes a thorough wipe down of door handles, benches, and shower components.
At this time, we are removing certain amenities from the float rooms. These include q-tips, combs, and hair ties. We ask that you please bring your own.
For massages, we will be thoroughly disinfecting the entire room before and after each appointment. Sheets are always changed with each client, and our therapists always wash hands before and after each session for 60 seconds with soap and water.
We are running our HVAC system continuously to ensure the air gets filtered throughout the day.

If you are sick, exhibiting any symptoms of the virus, or know that you have been exposed to the virus, please stay at home. Call or email us and we will cancel your appointment without charge to your account.
Please use our hand sanitizer upon checking in for your appointment.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth while at the spa.
Upon entering and exiting your float or massage room, we kindly ask that you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
