Step 1
Plan your visit
Here is how your first Sanctuary visit works.
We keep the first visit simple and calm. If you are unsure what to book, email the spa and our small team can help with general service questions.
Step 2
Arrive a little early so the team can help you settle in.
Step 3
Ask general visit questions before your session starts.
Step 4
Give yourself a few quiet minutes after the session before heading back out.

Your own room
Every float happens in a private suite with its own shower.
You shower, step into warm salt water, choose your preferred lighting and audio settings, and rest privately. Our team is available before and after your session for general guest support.
Questions
Answers before you book.
Before your float
Where do I book?
Use the Book Now buttons on this site. They open the current online booking experience.
When should I arrive?
Fifteen minutes before your appointment. The front desk will show you to your private suite, walk you through the float room, and answer anything you want to ask before the door closes.
What is in the suite, and what happens first?
Your suite has a dressing area, a shower, and the float room itself, which holds over 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt dissolved in purified water. You shower first to rinse off any product or lotion, put in earplugs if you want them, and step in. The water sits at 93.5–95°F, close enough to skin temperature that it becomes hard to feel where you end and the water begins.
What happens afterwards?
Shower off, then take your time. There is complimentary water and organic tea in the lounge at the front of the spa if you would rather sit with it a while before heading back out.
Can I ask for help choosing a service?
Yes. Email the spa for general service and booking help. Medical or clinical questions should be handled by an appropriate licensed professional.
What to bring
What do I need to bring?
Almost nothing. We supply towels, a robe, spa slippers, earplugs, paraben-free and sulfate-free bath products, hair ties, q-tips and tissues, and there are hairdryers in both bathrooms. No swimsuit is needed — every suite is private.
Is anything worth bringing anyway?
Three optional things. A contact lens case or your glasses, because salt water is easier to rinse from your eyes without contacts in. A swim cap, if you would rather keep your hair dry. And your own shampoo, conditioner or lotion, if you prefer your own products afterwards.
Massage
What kind of massage do you offer?
Our therapists work across Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and prenatal. Rather than picking from a menu, your session starts with a conversation, and your therapist draws on whichever styles fit what you want from the hour.
Can I book a massage and a float in one visit?
Yes, and it is the most common way guests use both. The float-and-massage packages are on the Ways to save page.
Is prenatal massage available?
Yes, in the second and third trimesters, booked with our prenatal specialist. Whether floating or massage is right for you during pregnancy is a question for your healthcare provider.
Policies
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. A $35 rebooking fee applies to no-shows or same-day cancellations.
Can I buy memberships, packages, and gift cards online?
Yes. Current booking, gift-card, package, and membership options are handled through our online purchase and booking links.
Are gift cards and memberships changing?
No guest action is needed. Use the current links on this site for live purchase options, balances, billing, and redemption questions.
